Got a long day at work? Need to get outta town? Let us take care of your home. We treat your pets like they’re our own.
From watering plants to taking Fluffy for a walk to scooping litter to feeding your bearded dragon those yummy bugs, we care for your home and pets like you would if you were there.
Services available include: regular walks, once-in-a-while visits, “pet taxi” services for those grooming or vet visits your pet can’t miss, cleaning up after your cat while you’re out of town (you know how they are!), bringing in the mail - with many services being available on short notice if we have the space.
Our family moved to Portland in the summer of 2025, and we are thrilled to get involved in our community. We are an animal-loving family and making a few bucks while hanging with other people’s pets is a no-brainer! See the About page for more info about our family!
-
Visits/Walks
A “visit” is any check-in for your pet that doesn’t require walking a dog. A “walk” is taking your dog on a walk around the immediate neighborhood (approximately 15 minutes) and cleaning up after them, of course.
-
Playdate
We will take your dog to the nearest safe park and have extended fetch and socializing time (approximately 45 minutes of park time).
-
Pet Taxi
Got a routine vet visit or grooming appointment your pet can’t miss? You can trust us to get Fluffy to her appointment and back home safely, with a full report.
-
Fur, Feathers, or Scales
Got an unusual pet? We don’t shy away from reptiles, spiders, birds, or fish. Contact us for a custom plan for keeping your pet safe and happy while you’re away.
Who
we are
We are the Harris family, and we moved across the country in the summer of 2025 to beautiful Portland, Oregon.
Keli (blue hair in this pic) has lived in over a dozen states, and is 100% a dog person, handling almost all of our canine clients. Keli loves cooking and anything outdoors, and is very active in the psychedelic community here in Oregon.
Melissa (purple hair, always) lived in Tennessee her entire life, so Portland is a bit of a culture shock - in a good way! Melissa is the “crazy cat lady” of the family, so if you schedule a feline visit and litter scoopin’, you’ll probably be dealing with Melissa.
Max (12) and Ben (13) are our sons. Our business was originally named after Max (Maximum Care) in Tennessee. Max is a total animal person, and will accompany one of us adults on visits outside of school hours, and earn a portion of the fees (if that’s okay with you). Ben would much rather stay home and play video games!
We started this business as a side hustle for our family, and to be able to teach our sons entrepreneurship, organization, and the value of hard work. Pet-sitting and caring for animals was a no-brainer for our family as a side business.
